Fine Country House
Our philosophy is simple – to create the most wonderful and desirable rooms using the amazing natural light. Called into modernise the existing kitchen, Martin was involved in the structural decision to knock three small rooms into the kitchen to create a stunning kitchen with both dining and soft seating areas.
The huge Subzero fridge was an existing piece, so the kitchen was designed round it, using made to measure pocket doors which hide a crockery cupboard, a provisions cupboard, breakfast bar and a coffee unit. The biggest surprise are the fumed Oak pocket doors leading to the rest of this gorgeous house.
Small details such as mirroring both ends of the island with the same Quooker taps and sink create the flow, as do the matching the new windows on the garden side. Using different materials in the kitchen lighten the feel with the use of cream lacquer units on the kitchen island.
